  • Loki Lives in my fishroom

When I got sick last week I had such a beautiful bunch of Black & Red &
butterfly Bettas. I could hardly wait for the show. I forced myself into the
fish room this afternoon to see what had survived no food or water changes for
so long and was delighted to see that I had a 100% survival. (Tough little
buggers when they have to be.) But I couldn't find any of the ones I
remembered, I just kept finding more and more amazing new fish. While I was
curled up snug in my bed for a week, Loki was loving my babies. He shifted
patterns and removed reds, added blues & blacks and stretched their fins up and
around. Maybe he just took mine away and brought some others. Almost like
    Christmas.
I can tell right now it's going to be hard to breed just Good Reds.
Can hardly wait for the next show now.
'Dear Lord,' the minister began, with arms extended toward heaven and a rapturous look on his upturned face. 'Without you, we are but dust ...'
He would have continued but at that moment my very obedient daughter who was listening leaned over to me and asked quite audibly in her shrill little four-year old girl voice, 'Mom, what is butt dust?'
