  • BettaHabari Spring Show

I checked with the IBC judging board and the only show dates still available this spring are 3/20 & 4/3. Since 4/2 is Good Friday & 4/4 is Easter I figured that Easter weekend would not be the best weekend to hold our International Betta Show. So I have reserved 3/20 for the BettaHabari / Houston International Betta Show.

Time to start force feeding your little prize winning baby bettas. Set your alarm clock for 1am so you can give them a third meal every day.
'Dear Lord,' the minister began, with arms extended toward heaven and a rapturous look on his upturned face. 'Without you, we are but dust ...'
He would have continued but at that moment my very obedient daughter who was listening leaned over to me and asked quite audibly in her shrill little four-year old girl voice, 'Mom, what is butt dust?'

March 20th has been reserved for our Spring Betta Show. This will be the first spring show in 2010. The BettaHabari continues to be #1 We will need 10 people Friday night to setup the stands and jar the fish. We will also need people to bag the returning fish after the auction. We need more members. Bring your fish friends to our meeting for a lesson in how to bag fish and how to enter in a IBC sponsored show. I will have entry forms for everyone.
