So tell us about them! What kind are they? How big do they get? Freshwater?

                Tons of snails?

I've been pulling the pond and ramshorn snails from my planted tank to feed to my puffer and trigger and it is pretty cool to hear the crunch!

The trigger has adapted a strange eating habit though, instead of stalking the snails he just crunches off the rear half of the shell which brings the whole snail meat out.

i've read that they can be aggressive towards other small fish. the tank mates would need lots of cover, but think just about anything fast enough would be fine.
