I have a half 5 gallon bucket full of Eco-Complete.
it was used from ~July 24 - February 2
I changed to aquasoil and thought I would use it for another tank but have instead decided to go with aquasoil for that tank too. About 2 bags worth but i used about an inch for a holding tank to give my crs some color. I've tried keeping it wet so that the bacteria can stay alive but i'm not sure if that works. It may need a little rinsing to get the debris out or you can just wait for it to settle.

just looked at it and it's not exactly 1/2 of 5, like 3 inches less. maybe an inch or two less. i can take pics tomorrow.
