Nutrient test

Any idea were i could buy a nutrient test?Want to balance out the nutrients in my tank glosso grown great but getting some algae still its :icon_hang: my tank

Depends...

Elos, LaMotte, Salifert, etc. make some nice test kits. Normally I just do the balancing act with ferts.

You mean like by the conditions the plants look in you add the fert needed?

yeah... start with the suggested amount to dose per tank volume or even a little less.

Say i have some BBA which im going to get rid off by spot dosing with excel,but the hair algae with fertz??

Can't be lights i think only 7 hrs a day

After i cycled tank they were at 10-15ppm now they at 0.
I guess i start dosing Pfertz little by little?Would that raise the nitrates too and balance the nutrients?

Plant load what types and how heavily stocked?
Ferts, what kind when, how frequently?
Co2 pressurized/ diy/ bpm/ tested it?
Lighting type, fixture, etc.
Filtration/ flow
Fauna/fish load?
maintenance?

Also, what do you mean by "they," as in they were at 10 to 15 ppm?
