well today I went and purchased a used Eheim 2229 filter. It was in great condition, but when I went to get it out of my truck it fell on the ground and broke a piece off of the very top of the lid. where can I buy another top to replace the broken one? It leaks on the tube portion of the filter. does anybody know how to fix this filter. I would be willing to pay somebody to please fix this for me. I will get all the parts you need. I can drop it off with you and you can keep it until it is done being fixed.

You can order almost any part you need / want for an Eheim online or you can goto City Pets they have a good selection of Eheim parts.. Most likely its just one part you need to replace to fix your issue.
Like EK said.. post a picture and we can help you find out what part needs to be replaced and you can get the part quick and you will be on your way in no time at all :)

There is some stuff at Hilo or Autozone kinda like JB weld, 2 tubes red and black will fix about anything, I used it to repair Gas tanks and oil pans on the oval dirt race cars before and theres a whole lot of bouncing/shakin goin on there!Comment
