Help me ID this shark...

I rescued 2 of these today... I was told they were once saltwater... but we turned freshwater.. which they were in when i got them and I have them in now.. they were in really bad conditions and I was glad to get them out of that tank.. worst i've ever seen...  wasn't cleaned for over a year... no water changes... adding chlorinated tap water to the tank... it was bad...

Can anyone ID them for me? They are about 13"-14" long...

I took a short trip down GOOGLE lane and all I could find was Black Shark, but I don't think it's the same one I saw on the web. I've seen these fish before, in smaller form of course, but I cannot remember what they where called.  Black shark it could be.
