Will J.D.'s eat there fry? I have a pair of JD's that just hatched out about 500 fry. I don't know a lot about them!! Will they eat there fry?? Thanks for the help. Mike

JD's are just like most other south Americans.. they will protect them and then after a while (4-6 weeks) they will become disinterested in them and well if one happen to be in front of their mouth at that point and they are hungry... well dinner is served.
I would most likely remove the parents after about 4 weeks at which point the fry should be able to fend for themselves.
