Well, this happened pretty suddenly... or, I'm not very observant. My chaeto is practically gone, just a couple bits and pieces here and there. In the past, I had to take handfuls out due to having so much. Now, it's gone!
Probably not enough nutrients. I keep my 6500 cfl light on about 10 hours a day. About 3 months ago I bought a more powerful pump for my biopellets. I'm going to guess the more effective biopellets are the cause. Looks like they took out all the nitrates in the water before the chaeto got to it. It's the only thing I can think of. I'll start my nitrate and phosphate water tests but if chaeto is gone, I'm going to bet they're at 0.
