  • pea puffer tank before and after.

So this is what my pea puffer tank looked like roughly 2 and a half weeks ago and the after shot. It is more a after before the way it is set up and the quality is horrible I will take better pictures when I get home and clip and replant but it might be a week and a half.

Doesn't seem to have much of a change other than trimming a bit. How many puffers are in there? Looks quite bare. Planning on adding more plants?

It is a little bare. You have a very nice start but could use a center pease. A rock or driftwood. Just something to give the plants size.
Would love to see picture of the puffers. As Mista asked How many do you have?
Who said you need a longer light? I have a 6' tank with a 4' light and a 4' tank with a 3' light. they both have live plants.
But, if you want a better light. Get one. this hobby is about being happy with your tank. no one can tell you what you like but you...
        look forward to more pictures

Oh no no the second picture is the before and the first picture is the after picture. I guess I should have labeled it after and before lol I haven't trimmed it yet. Yea i am going to put a couple of rocks in this tank. I have 5 pea puffers in there so plenty of room for all. I really need to boost the snail population for them. I think it looks quite different I am going to prune when I get home and re-plant the trimmings to add more density to the tank. I also plan on getting more plants. There is a bamboo shoot in the center of the tank I know you can't see it. Like I said I will be taking better pictures once I get home with my new camera.
I am trying to re-size my puffer pictures now and will post a couple shortly.

              Cute little guys.
you will never get a snail population in the same tank. I, my self have a tank with snails and shrimp for my puffers.

48" T5HO two bulb Nova. It was a pretty cheap light so I had my reservations about it but so far i have been very happy with the quality of the product.
