i think i have channel cats???

    i think i have channel cats???

    a guy brought me these in a bucket today. he claims to have been keeping in a 29g tank with 5 clown loaches and a school of black skirt tetras, but "they were just getting too big" now they're in my 75g but i have this suspicious feeling it won't hold them for long... the albino is pretty.

    my fish house:
    2.5g- ramshorn hatchery
    6g eclipse- yellow shrimp, chili rasboras, yellow apple snails
    29g- geo grow-out, angels, 12"fire eel, dwarf frog, apple snails
    45g- jade sleeper gobies, native killifish, feeder endlers
    75g-     2 oscars, parrot, silver dollars, albino channel cat, syno euptera, bichir, baby jaguar, convicts, yabby
    125g- fahaka puffer, rainbow shark
    and about a dozen bettas....

    Ally: Yes they are channel catfish albinos to be exact, the 29 will not hold them for long , you are right. They get very big and will eat any fish that will fit in their mouth. So do not be surprised if any fish that you are keeping with them are gone in the morning. They are very active at night, while the other fish are resting. Any other fish other than catfish are not as active at night, and having poorer vision then the catfish at night, so they will easily be preyed upon by the cats..

      lol the only thing smaller is the convicts PLEASE EAT THEM!!!!! i was thinking how long do i have until they outgrow the 75g and i can fry those babies up!
