            Re: wtb substrate

I have the warehouse pool supply sand in 2 of my tanks. It took me 2 hours to wash 200lbs. Its heavy enough that it settles straight away, no lingering dust cloud.

yeah the lingering cloud is what bothers me.

What size tank are you planning on using?

The 75 took about 75lbs. The 135 took 100-110lbs. I put the rest in an underbed storage box for my son to play dumper trucks.

I have some small gravel ....about 90 pounds worth, but I'm kinda hurting for cash, would you be interested in taking it off my hands for say 40 bucks?

In better times, I would just give it to you, but you would be doing me a favor to do this.

Oh, by the way, I have the 110 reef ready Oceanic you sold to Zomer in my garage....... :)

                    Re: wtb substrate

i just want a thin layer of substrate for my 210... because the fish seem kinda spooked with no substrate in the tank.

did zomer not like the tank? howd it get over there? that was a really nice tank, very good condition. only reason i got rid of it was to make room for the 210.

                    what kind of gravel? pics?

                      Re: wtb substrate

The gravel I have is about the size of a green pea, maybe smaller, and it's the rough stuff too, from a landscape yard. It's not perfectly round either, its different sizes and shapes all together.  No pics, but your close enough to come by and look if you are interested. Zormer did not mention a specific reason why he was selling the tank, but I got the impression is was a matter of where to put it. It is a nice tank though, and after I put together a new stand for it, it will be much appreciated.

I'm near eldridge and grant if you wanna stop by this weekend.
