ID asterina or not, toss it or not?

Is this an asterina and should i toss it or not.

Looks like it but hard to say. There are different types that it's not easy to tell from the harmful ones but supposedly they are rare to come across. I wouldn't worry unless you see corals declining or just want it out.

well there are severals that I see, came with some algae i bought.

I like them but just not sure if they will become a pest or not, well I guess I will keep an eye on them.

Most people consider all asterina as pests as they can multiply quickly. I don't know of any that will harm corals, but then again I'm still familiarizing myself with saltwater.

well I will keep an oye on them. I just do not want them eating my corals.
