I have heard they used to be more stringent, but a few have 'slipped' out that have bred. Only a matter of time now....

'Murica! And well I figured they were sterile, since they inject the eggs with dye. But maybe they could get the glofish eggs with a regular and just go from there. Like he said only a matter of time.

They are genetically mutated with jellyfish dna and the eggs are not dyed. Also, how do you control a breed of fish from copulating then regulate it and enforce it. Don't think so. ???

BTW, the glofish are just danios which breed prolifically. 2 weeks ago I saw tiger barbs in Petsmart that were also dyed.
