Don't know what this is but can I frag this coral? If so how do I do it?

Got it as a 1" frag now it's like 6" only been 4 months. Is that good growth or am I behind.

+1. Select a back facing branch so the cut will be less obvious for your viewing.

That's good growth. Good job! If you don't keep up with fragging it, it will grow a ton more and take over your tank.
