  • The Burundi House (Updated Pics 11/18/2012)

This had been a consideration of my every since I decided to keep Cyphotilapia again. So after selling 90% of the stock in my 210 gallon and losing the rest, it was time to break it down, clean it and make it ready for the new masters of this tank.

I removed everything except for the sand. Broke down all equipment and cleaned it to like new condition. Bought new limestone boulders, and bleach cleaned them. When it was all said and done this is what I came up with for the tank. I wanted simple with three main caves for males.

Only things left to do are:

    to move the fish
    move the 2260 intake
    upgrade the wetdry pump
    new glass tops
    and eventually new lights

I hope so. I believe it will allow there growth to speed up slightly but mainly it will help to reduce aggression and give them a better home.
