  • Power HEADS!

I'm so excited! My two koralia 550 gph power heads came in! They rock! What's the best way to place them in my 26 gallon bow front? Right now I have them facing each other, creating a ball of water in the middle and keeping the water on top agitated. The bottom has a slow current. What do you think about my placement?

I would place one more towards the front of the tank. Then have the other more blowing on the back side of the tank. So it's kind of running in a circular flow.

frags should fall off if you place them in a nice a snuggle spot.

+1 with "what frags you have?"
where they place is a big factor to make them happy. some corals require more flow, lights, and etc.

Thanks, first time doing it but it doesn't compare to Semper.

Im debating whether to paint the back black or get a piece of black material to place on the back.

did you cycle the tank? seems like you just got the tank up and running and now corals are in

I wouldn't paint it now its full if you do cover the top really well so paint and fumes don't get in the tank try using window tinting
