  • Moving 9 gallon

    Howdy!

I have a 9 gallon reef setup but am a college student, and will be moving back to college station in the fall. Have any advice/favorite methods for moving a reef?

At the beginning of the summer I moved my 4 gallon back home by removing rock/coral/critters and placing in a bucket, and draining water to substrate level so I could move the tank. That was pretty simple, but do you guys have any other ideas?

I moved my 10 gallon planted tank by draining half of the water and just carrying it to my car.

I put it in the back seat on the floor and none of the water spilled. I drove on the freeway too.
