So I bought this elegence coral about 3months ago. It opened nice and big about 5-6in. Day by day I started to notice it closing more often. Started to research what it could be. Found that it could do that during the day.
Then all of a sudden it didn't open at all waited and waited days passed and it didn't open at all. Started to notice it was decomposing and that there were some white thing on it. So I did more researched and found out about gall crabs so I started to stare at my elegence for hours until I noticed it on my elegence coral. I was able to remove it but my elegence lost all of its tenticles as it was dying because of the gall crab.
Right now it opens up but it has no tenticles will it grow them back or that's how it will be from now on.
Anybody else have experienced with gall crabs??
