  • Boraras Brigittae (Chili Rasbora) Pictures and Tank setups

So I snapped a few quick pictures. They are not the greatest pictures I will post some better ones later... This is my 20 gallon tank with a xp2 filter with 1 liter of eheim substrat pro, 1/2 liter of purigen, and eheim filter floss.

Tetra Color Tropical Crisps in the morning and a combo or tubifex worms and blood worms at night...

might be the bloodworms, i havent tried that yet cuz they are so small and all i have is frozen. i might need to thaw and dice them

Are you crushing up the crisp?

I'm feeding tetra color flakes but ground up the whole bottle into dust which they take in very easily. Also on occassion I grind up NLS/Cichlid Excel. The new batch is coloring up some but the old batch look to be all female. LOL

i wonder if they are sensitive to TDS? I havent checked that aquarium lately, maybe i should try purigen there tho i have never used it before since it MAY remove chelated micronutrients

I dunno if the TDS is a big factor cause I have some really colored up and most not.

Plus I have a big bag of purigen in my tank already LOL

TDS might have something to do with it. I have a Hauge water softener for my house so my water is soft and pretty clean...

i tried feeding my bloodworms but they are too big so gonna have to chop them up

but they seem to like the tetra crisps!
