    Looks good.

Question to the koi aficionados: why are koi mostly looked at from above? Is there less enjoyment having them in large aquariums?

They were bred to be appreciated top view as they were kept in ponds. Koi grow rather large and although there are bonsai koi, the top breeders are only after the large quality koi.

        So pond only then.

I like the koi in that link and how their red forehead make them look like the japanese flag.

It's a sin to keep kois in anything then a pond! :)

High quality kois are soooooo pimp. I love all the color combos.

You could always do a koi setup in your tub, Q.

I have my koi in a huge oldschool garden tub about 240 gallons. They do well from 100+ degrees to 20 degrees...they are awesome from the top view because of their shape. From the side view they look very plain and not so robust.

I still think Q should have a bathtub koi pond. If anyone can do it it's Q! Hey you could even have some mollies in a soap dish. :P

We do have a spare bath that doesn't get used often........ but I don't have the time for it.

For now I will satisfy that need through my parents' place since they recently built a pond.
