  • Using driftwood in a Sulawesi tank (for Cardinals)

Any recommendations on how much driftwood can be used in a 14 gallon Sulawesi tank? Not sure if I should be concerned if the driftwood will slowly push the PH of the water down. I want to use some Medium size pieces of wood. I am now using an Aragonite substrate #5 (2 inches thick) with Lace stone and some pieces of white lava. I am looking at adding some black river stone as well.

    Thanks for the help.

I say go for as much asd you like if that is what you want. With frequent small water changes you'll be fine. I have driftwood in three of my sulawesi shrimp tanks.

Dorothy : How can you talk if you haven't got a brain?
Scarecrow: I don't know... But some people without brains do an awful lot of talking... don't they?
Dorothy: Yes, I guess you're right.
