18th Annual Koi/Goldfish Sale & Educational Seminars
At Water Garden Gems – San Antonio, Texas

Do not miss thisyear’s Spring Fish Sale and Pond Seminars At Water Garden Gems (Near SanAntonio, TX). It is shaping up to be one of the best yet. The annual spring fish sale and TKFGSseminars is this week/weekend. Andy Moo of Andrews Koi International located inAnaheim, California traveled to Japan in early March to buy koi especially forour event. These koi were shipped to Andy’s shop in California for testing andquarantine before our event. We believe that this is the best way to insurethat koi sold at this event will be as healthy as possible. Those of you thathave attended in the past several years can attest to the health and thequality of the koi that Andy has been providing.
AndyMoo has been in the koi business 25 years and makes several trips each year toJapan to visit koi breeders and purchase koi. Andy is planning to bring a largenumber and a wide variety of koi ranging from pond grade priced at $30 to $300one year old koi for this event. Here is a listing of the typesof koi expected to be brought by Andy listed by breeder. Chogoro bred platinumogon, Dainichi bred Kohaku and Showa, Hoshikin bred kohaku, Isa bred Showa andKohaku. Izumiya bred yamabuki ogon, Ogata bred Chagoi, Several Gin Rin andDoitsu types, Kujaku, Goshiki, Goromo, & Asagi, Sakai (Yamamatsu) bredKohaku, Sanke, Showa Omosako bred Shiro Utsuri and Sakuma bred Gin Rin andregular Kohaku, Sanke, Showa and Yohei bred hybrid sanke.
VanceSchultze will be bringing some of his best one and two year old long fin koi tosell at our event as well. Vance is breeding some of the best long fin koi inthe U.S. and this is one of the few opportunities each year to purchase them.
MikeChristensen will be returning and selling his locally bred and imported fancygoldfish. Mike will be bringing a selection of baby and adult goldfish in awide range of prices. Hours will be:
Friday,April 15: 9:00am to 5:30pm
Saturday,April 16: 9:00am to 4:00pm
Sunday,April 17: 10:00am to 3:00pm
Duringthe weekend there will be live music, food booth, craft show, and freeeducation seminars related to fish and fish ponds all day on Saturday, April 16th. In addition there will be a TKFGS ZNA fundraising event for Japan Disaster Relief, raffles,membership drive, and a live koi judging seminar.
