live sand and live rock questions

i got the jbj nano cube 12 deluxe.

now i don't know if i should be getting 12 pounds of live sand, and then another 12 pounds of live rocks or is it a total of 12 pounds of both?

if the total weight is 12 pounds, what ratio of sand to rock should it be?

You really don't need any sand.

I would just feel it up with about 1" of sand.

Regarding LR, the more the better but let your scape determine how much you need.

I bought some sand locally, then some real live sand from a vendor out of Tampa Bay, by the same name. I wish I'd waited and only purchased all from TB. Real stuff with real critters, snails, pods, etc.
