ADA 90p Journal

So recently I sold my AGA 90g RR and upgraded to a ADA 90p RR. At close to 50 gallons it was perfect for my next project, a new reef set up. I bought it from a guy on Marsh and it came with a nice solid stand, rather than spend more money I opted to keep the stand and dump the money into equipment.

Tank and stand




Right now the tank has LR in it for cycling purposes. Either today or tomorrow I will go pick up some TBA LR to add to the mix.

Today I will be getting alot done, finish plumbing and fill the tank. Also hang these







Lighting will be controlled by AI controller.



With the help of Thai, we will be hanging these LEDs from the ceiling use AI hanging bracket. It came in packaged nicely inside a thick cardboard tube.

I didn't have time to hang the lights today but I did turn them on. Also got the TBA live rock, I just threw it in the tank, this is not the final scape by any means.

Update... So I finally got the plumbing done and its running quiet and efficient.











This weeks mission is to get this reactor running and hopefully the skimmer. Introducing my Reef Octopus BR-110.











I will be using 500 ml worth Ecobak bio pellets.
