Whats the defrience between a L 015 and a L135? They are both commonly known as the candy striped pleco. I pickled up a candy striped pleco from petco a few weekesd ago for 8 dollars and he is in my 46 gallon grow out with a L 204 and a L 023. I have had the L 023 for years and the L 204 I got from tim and is about 3-4 inches. The candystriped pleco I just got is 1.5 inches. He is a little baby haha. Anyway I was just trying to figure out why they have to names?

I'm not sure exactly what your question is
. Are you asking why they're known by both their common name and their L number (this means they'll actually have 3 names each, including the scientific name)? Or why both are known as 'candy striped pleco' even though they're two different species?
