  • Need help asap!

Well, upon checking out my tank today, I found that my guppies had anchor worms.

I have heard to treat with copper, and that's my plan, but will the copper harm either of my bottom dwellers?

Including: a pleco, and a flagtail porthole catfish.

I wasn't sure if the copper would harm either of those two, so I'm checking online real quick before I start the treatment!

Sad thing is, I was giving these fish away tonight, because the tank needs to come down. Now I feel like I have to keep them in order to insure they're healthy, as I'd never give someone unhealthy fish

Use Jungle's parasite guard. It's safer on scaleless fish, just use at half strength.

Alright, I'll try to find some of that tomorrow. Thanks!

Copper is really only bad on inverts. Good news if you have a snail infestation... :)
