corals in my little pico...

per Thai's request, i try to post all the zoas and some other corals in my little pico....
i am a new reefer...still llot of things to learn...but seriously salt water corals are so much fun...i just can't stop buying frags...
per my noob observation, the same coral can really change a lot under different things...it is really interesting...i know there are not too many salt water guys here...but i will still try my best to take photos of each of my corals...and try to name them if i can...please correct me if i give wrong names..so i can learn from you too...hopefully there will be more reefers growing in the box...
salt tank may be a little harder to maintain..but i think it is sure rewarding...
so i will post 2 pics today...here are 2 of my frags i took a few days ago...
the first one i have no idea what is the name...
but kinda looks like one of the people eater family?

second one should be pink poly..

also i wil have another sw tank setting up tomorrow...
once the ls and lr are in..i will post some pics too..

i think most likely i wont put any zoas in that tank...

my watermelon only got like 5 heads...you think i can frag them soon? if so...dont buy it ...i mount it and a few different other types on a piece of live rock..lol...
i m not sure it is the same guy u talking about? u mean the guy that sell only watermelon and some dragon eye frags?
if so then its him...i bought it awhile back...the colors of his frags are not that good imo...
i bought both his watermelon and hyper dragon eyes...the colors are turning a little better now..
did you ever go city pets to check their frags??
they have some pretty good $5 and $10 zoa frags...some are pretty big name zoas..lol..

and also the red leg hermit crab in my tank is crazy...
always disrupt my corals....
and i saw it killed my biggest turbo snail in the tank and too its shell...
it some how freaking went into the snail...and dragged half of the meat of the snail out..
it was really nasty....

They get hit up on the 5 and 10 dollar frag tanks from me for sure!

Sometimes they got super rare stuff that don't show the right colors cause water condition and lighting are not right for them.

Speaking of the 5 dollar frag tank, I just came up!

So I got a neon green ricordea last week and another small zoa colony on two different LRs.

When I got home I just dropped them into the tank. I don't look at my tank when the lights are off so I didn't get to see the ric closed up yet.

Last night, cause we where talking about CP's frag tank....I went to check out my new ric.

The ric was closed as expected, but to my surprise there were two young zoa pods being covered by the ric when it opens.

I just got done fragging the pods off and glued them to a new LR. Just waiting for them to open now. Don't know what they are or if they will make it.
