  • Tropheus Albino Kipili - Adult picture

I see that Old World Exotic has these from time to time on their list as only having but like 6 of them.

I am not 100% sold if they are man made or not, or just like the Golden Kiriza occurs naturally 1 out of a 800 or so... but until now I never saw a adult picture of one. Always the little juvinile ones on Old Worlds site or others is all that I have seen.

There is a guy name John from New York that had a colony of ilangi. From his group there was an albino fry. He posted pictures on trophs and tropheusfanatic. This is the only hobbyist documentation I have seen of albinos. They was also a lufubu group that breed albino and they were trying to in-line breed them in Europe I think.

I ate my fish that died.

By "man made," what do you mean? Like, selective breeding? Are these fish supposed to be wild caught?

                  That's an awesome looking fish.

I would get into tropheus if these guys were available.

I'm a big fan of albino strains. Just bought 5 albino congo tetras from Fish Gallery.

i personally have no interest in a fish that is born with a lack of pigmentation. Who wants a fish with no color pigment? however the rarity is quite appealing and im assuming thats why yall like it so much? it is a sweet fish though

I would love to have an albino fry pop-up in any type of tropheus I had.

I have no interest in the line-bred ones. Their blood line is weak.
I ate my fish that died.
