No LFS has them. This is where I'm considering getting some:
You'll see it lists them (under Brazilian FW puffer) as not in stock. I called them and they do have them. I think the guy said they were something like $7.50 each.Trogdor was a man. Or maybe he was a dragon man. Or maybe he was just a dragon. But he was still TROGDOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOR!
You know, fish are great. I love my fish. But what I really want is a monkey.

True...it can happen with any puffer, but some puffers are more likely to suffer from overgrown teeth, and SAPs are one of them. In fact, they are notorious for it. In the case of SAPs, it's not only negligence that could cause it, but just part of the package.
I have 2 fahakas, 3 dwarfs, had 2 avocados (1 has passed away), and about 18 - 20 SAPs. Of all these puffers, I've seen the overgrown teeth in 1 of the avocados, and a couple of the SAPs. And from personal experience, clipping their teeth is not a pleasant experience for the puffers or you. :) Just go into it with the expectation that you will have to do some dental work is all I'm saying. If it's not something you think you can handle, maybe choose another puffer type. Our Fishhouse
