Are they open on the weekends? Can the public shop within the store, or can I go on the website, place my order, then pick the item up on the weekend?

I think you have to place your order on their website and then when it is ready, you can pick it up. :)

Yup. ADG doesn't have a "store," per se. But you can request to pick up your order instead of having it shipped, and pick it up at a set day/time.

PM me if you want, and I can help arrange the pickup. :)

To everyone here on HFB: ADG is open from 8-5 on weekdays to the public, and weekends by appointment only. HOWEVER, ADG is moving, so if you want to stop by to see the beautiful tanks, you might be disappointed. :) The Gallery is practically gutted right now. But soon enough there will be another!! :)

I think their current location will close down at the end of the month or so and they will be working from a temporary location until their new place is built out. I think Mike said the new place may be ready in November, but don't quote me on that.

I just don't see a point in paying or shipping when I may be coming up there anyway. Let me get a better idea when I'm heading in that direction again. It's either next weekend or the weekend after most likely.

                Just as a side comment-

I've been up there just over the past couple of weeks, and even in the "moving out" stage with some of the tanks taken down already, it is by far the most abso-freaking-lutley amazing store I've ever been to. Just incredible work. I told the guys that I really admired the aquarium setups at MD Anderson when I'd go with my dad for his treatments, and I was impressed when I learned they were the ones responsible for it.

I can't wait to see their new place! It's going to be awesome.

Just placed an order the other day. Went by the new warehouse to pick it up, Beltway 8 and 288 close to the bass pro shop. Nothing really up so far, but it looks pretty nice so far. Jeff has got to be one of the nicest guys I've met. I can't wait to see what the store is gonna look like.

Yeah -- If I am not mistaken they just over the New Years Holidays took possession of the new facility they are going to move into. They have been temp in a HUGE warehouse (I commented on the fact when they lose their warehouse and move into the new building the cool, indoor parking goes away)
Their retail store is going to be WAY cool :) Cannot wait to see it coming up :)

Yes - they will have a small retail store at their new location. It will be quite interesting and awesome to come look at.

I can't wait (another reason to come to Houston). Mike spoke with me about it when I met him a few months ago.

Yeah, I was in their temporary warehouse last weekend and it's huge! I was thinking to myself I could bring my M/C in there to get out of the cold and rain to practice my wheelies and stoppies! Pretty sure ADG's insurance company may frown on this idea

They definitely have a lot of cool stuff. it's all "high end" stuff, but it's obvious after seeing their inventory-you probally get what you pay for-service and customer satisfaction. I was a little embarassed to tell them I just got an 180 Aqueon. They had new Deep Sea tanks in their warehouse and the quality difference is immediately obvious.
