  • DIY sponge fliter kinda..

    my dad thought this up idk how but he did and i made it

    125 gallon long ~ African cichlids
    10 gallon ~ ghost shrimp breeding (fish treats) haha

        I may be looking at your picture wrong, but shouldnt the bubbles be forced up the tube? If the sponge is attached to the bottom of the tube and the air bubbles "pull" the water up the tube, water will be forced through the filter more efficiently, right? If I remember correctly, thats how the store bought units work. Again, I may be wrong here too.

              no i cut the top off put a lot of holes in it then place at bottom intserted tube in top then cover the part i cut off which is on the bottom with gravel and the some filter wool
