bought a 3ft x 50ft roll of 1" filter pad for $45.00 today. LFS would have charged me $125.00. they are at 610 & Ella. 1 block north. they also sell carbon.

I just bought a 30" x 36" felt pad from Fosters & Smith $ 9.99 + shipping
So it cost me 3x as much, but it will last 6 months.

Ek- carbon is pellets but I think I would rather have granular. they had some crushed stuff. I paid $78.00. PP- if you want some I will sell you some in 6 months

yea I think I paid a little high but this should last 5 yrs. I talked to my chemist friend last night for 1 hr. he said granulated can have a faster flow and is more efficient. I'll post a pic of the floss in a little while. Its 1" thick blue on one sid, white on the other.200
