    Give them time

what else do you have in the tank. You may want to pull them and place them in a seperate tank.

ok....try adding more rocks. They are reaching that stage but will overcome it soon.

          How old are they?

If they are young, then they just need a little time.

Re: duboisi breeding / not holding

Females are usually not real successful on the first couple of tries, and have a real hard time if they are not old or large enough to hold clutches.

I got a Mpimbwe Female that has spit over 20 before, and then I got a small Red Saddle female that only spits about 1-3 each time.  The difference is the female Mpimbwe is over 5" and the redsaddle female is 4"

They get more experienced with time.

If possible, post a  picture of the tank so we can look over the decoration.  The little spit babies have got to have some places to hide, or they may get eaten.  ITs weird sometimes, Ive seen colonies that only 10% get eaten, then I've seen others that just ravage the place and eat about 90% of them.

I think it mostly is how the tank is stocked, and how it is decorated.
