  • not your common guppy

well here i go because i been cheking out the libereares forum and its always quiet.
probably you wil be asking yourself whats he's talking about.
well its simple, probably by now , many people will know there is many kinds of guppy ,the fancy ones
and the feeders ones, but what makes the fancy ones , fancy.
its really simple, when you see a fish thats commonly available, that probably means is not fancy.
now,to call something a fancy guppy a couple of things have to happen before, one of them
is this fish have to breed true,
what do i mean?well one fish bred true when 80 precent or more of his/her descendants look like his father/mother.
well i been working really hard with this line of albino yellow snakes, for more than 2 years now.
and i happilly can say  this line breds true 100 percent meaning all the babies look like the father and mother.
thats something not so esasy to find.
    here are the pictures

well there is always room for improvement, i mean once you have the strains going on  breeding pure, you need to take
a closer look to the fins , and size , proportions, you know the usual tomake your guppy spectacular.

You produce nicest albino guppies we have ever seen.  My favorite is your blue pastel albino.  Keep up the great work!  later, ken/mark

I've never had the time or determination to maintain a pure strain of guppy, but I sure admire those who do !
            Nice fish !

                Re: not your common guppy

well once you got the fish is relatively easy, you just need to keep bredding the right female with the rigth male.
and for that you only need a few aquariums.
                anyway.
it will be nice if someboy else put their projects in ths forum too.

                      Very nice Diego! Congratulations!
But I have a question...and please take this in the spirit its intended:
How come I can read your writing on the glass but not on paper?

                        Re: not your common guppy

well i think it is because when i go to the auctions i do not have time to write everything so i do it
                        in a very fast way.
i also think it is because of the posture its probably easy for me to write standing up.
                        you know short guy.
