Aquadine Fish Food Consumer Report

Tried the Aquadine fish food the other day...overall it gets "two fins down" from our fish.   Africans spit it out after tasting it...neons and other small fish did not touch...angels...same response..."Lady, what do you think you're doing?  We are supposed to EAT this?"

The only fish which seemed remotely interested have been the plecos, cory cats and some of the guppies...either we are feeding much better quality of food already or this stuff really sucks...

So my recommendation, if you get it for free, keep it for emergencies...if you have to buy it...don't waste your money...even the Tetra Flakes (emergency food) got much better response than this stuff...

My Hyphessobrycon amandae love it but I crumple it to powder before feeding it to them and the whole lot of them only gets on single flake a day.


But I pretty much have the same response from all my fish that I tried feeding it to.....just tried since it was free but all my fish get NewLifeSpectrum and they love that stuff. Why eat cornflakes when you can have a full steak dinner with all the trimmings.

I got the free stuff for the amandae anyways.

My Fronts seem to like it. So do the bristlenose, clown loachs and synodontis.

my fishies ate it....they don't attack it as well as the nls ....but they ate it all the same.....lol....they trust me i guess....

I too have noticed that the fish will initially spit the disc shaped food out a few times, but, they do seem to eventually clean the tank once it softens.
