What type of heating equipment do you guy's use that WORKS? Has anyone had success with "inline" heaers
    Thanks

    Re: Heating a 180 + tank

I have a 180 gallon aquarium that is inside my house and I keep my Heater set at 70F and my AC set at 78F

I use the Marineland Visi-Therm Stealth 250W water and it keeps my 180 gallon aquariums at 80F without no problem. I put the thermostat on the heater at 80F.

I also have glass tops that cover the aquarium, and the lights on the tank are the 36" Dual Lights.  So, I have 4-30W bulbs for lighting, and at night I notice about a 1 degree difference in temerperature between the time I turn off the lights and when I turn them on in the morning.
