First I want to thank all those that came up for the trip and gave my Aunt 12-12packs of Coke Classic. She has a stash now that is going to last a while for sure..

We had Chris and his 2 year old son, Juan & Heather, Rick, Jesper, Nick, Raul, Walter, Spot, Matt & Amber, and myself.

It wasnt dragging the ground. I actually managed to get 40.8mpg from Austin to Houston. Ive got the rocks pressure washed and now theyre sitting in bleach solution. I'll take pictures and weigh them once theyre clean.

The big rock pictured broke into three pieces after pressure washing. It has a lot of cracks that most of been bonded with mud. Im sure the force of the pressure washing didnt help either.

Chris, I hate to hear that about that rock it was a really cool rock. Those wheel wells in the back were about an 1" or less from rubbing the tires.  Glad to hear you made better gas mileage with the rocks than without.  Must have been the filters!

? From Houston to Austin I managed 46mpg.

It was from Austin to Bertram that the wind and uphills gave me an average of 38-40mpg. From Bertram to Austin (loaded with rocks) i averaged 50 something. It was mostly downhill.

I would get better than the forties, but i cant stand to drive long distances doing less than 70-80.

Had a blast out there!!!! Thanks Geoff for giving us a chance to go out and have some fun digging up rocks! I cleaned a few of the rocks up yesterday and man you wouldn't beleive all the holes that the mudd was covering up.
