This is a little dedication to Jolley's Moops.  I know you don't have these now, but I appreciate the opportunity when I got mine from you.  Who ever has them now, I hope they appreciate what nice fish these are - especially since I would not mind getting a few more.

    Thanks again!

    Donald

            Re: Mpulungu

            Donald,

these fish are just awesome man.  Great pictures as always.

John sold these fish to fishcrazy, then fishcrazy sold them to Honkz, the Honkz sold them to someother guy in San Antonio or something like that.

I think he had some problems with them, right before he sold them, and that is why he said he did not want to take the time for taking care of them.

This fish were really special in my opinion and very nicely colored.

Glad to see the F1's you have from his colony are just as nice.

            Take care,

            Geoff

I wish I had the funds when the guy in Beaumont was selling them.

              Those were some kicka$$ tropheus.

                Re: Mpulungu

I was happy with them for a time, and had several spawns from them myself.  I just got tired of them quickly.  I'm an extreme cyphotilapia guy myself, and the hyper style of fish just wasn't my thing.

                The pics look great!

                  Thanks for the compliment.

My main purpose of the post was to see if I could find out who has them now and see if they have any fry available.

BUT I still kick myself in the butt. :(

                    Re: Mpulungu

                    Hey, Donald.

They look great, my friend. I was happy to sell them to Jeff (fishcrazy1). I don't mind selling them to someone that I know is fully capable of taking care of them. It really bothers me to hear that someone in San Antonio had trouble with them. I'm sure that translates to killing a lot of them. That sucks! Tropheus are not for everyone. Thanks for sharing the pics with us.

                    John

                      Re: Mpulungu

Actually honkz had trouble with them and decided they were too much to handle and they were sent to SA bloated.

Sad to hear actually....if the price was better I would have bought to try and save them.

DD, I know someone who has some f1's that are adults for stoopid cheap...shoot me a pm.

I hope all or at least some of them made a full recovery.

wow, just read this thread. Yeah I'm sorry i had to sent them out to San Antonio. They are some really nice moops.
But in my deffence, I got really busy with work n school, and someone else would probably enjoyed them and take care of them better than i did. They were healthy by that time i brought them to San Antonio, infact, at least 2 females were holding. The buyer is Fletcher617 in cyphos.com if anyone is wondering. He's an experience fish keepers and breeds cyphos on regular basis.
