  • Plant fertilizer

Does anyone have any suggestions on fertilizer for a planted tank that has angels in it? I want one that will not harm the angels.

    Re: Plant fertilizer

I am using Kent freshwater ProPlant (liquid) without any noteable problems.
'Dear Lord,' the minister began, with arms extended toward heaven and a rapturous look on his upturned face. 'Without you, we are but dust ...'
He would have continued but at that moment my very obedient daughter who was listening leaned over to me and asked quite audibly in her shrill little four-year old girl voice, 'Mom, what is butt dust?'

I'm not aware of any that will harm angels, or really any other fish, for that matter. Just as long as you don't OD, I think you're good.

I just started using the Flourish ferts, and I really like them. Combined with CO2, my plants are going crazy.  8)

Angels have been pretty tough in my tank, tougher than guppies anyway.  I use some shelf brand that has iron and potassium.
