I can post a list of those willing to drive and those willing to ride.

I am willing to drive and I might have room for (1) if my daughter does not have to come with me. Otherwise I have no room.

So, please those that are willing to confirm, please post if you have room for a carpooler, or if your looking to carpool.

Right now there is you, three others, and myself.

Hopefully more will want some rocks! lol...

I know it is a long drive, but you get to pick from hundreds of rocks that are already piled, up.  If you get bored, you can go wandering the property and find thousands more that may require digging with pick and shovel, to those that would need DYYYYNnnoOOOOMYyYYITE!!!!!!!!!

I am in the Dallas Fort Worth area but I frequent the houstonfishbox forums. I saw your event and I think it looks awesome.

If I can Iron out my plans for next saturday, could I meet you all down there?? It is about the same distance for me as it is yall.

Absolutely no problem.

If you google the Dairy Queen in Burnet Texas, you will find where we are meeting.  I think its the only one there, so no problems shoudl occur.  

Like I said in the posting, I would expect us there 11:00 AM give or take 30 Minutes.

We will be taking 290 West out of Houtson at 7:30AM to I-35 North in Austin.  Then get onto 29 West in Georgetown.  Then take a left on 281 South and be there at the Dairy Queen by no later than 11:00AM.

According to the Mapquest it is 204 miles, which hopefully should take us about 2.5-3 hours


Depending on Traffic, and what granny drivers we may have, we might be there early

Hey guys, I can meet at the gathering spot, but I need to hitch a ride with someone.  I got gas money and willing to help drive.  I have to double check, but I think I have a wheel barrow and pick to bring along if there is room for them.

I am taking a wheel barrow, pick, shovel, and sledgehammer.

The wheel barrow is the most helpful item.

Do I need to bring anything then besides cash?  What do you drive?  A pickup?
