As I beign my quest to what i'm putting into my tank......I had a brain fart

Would I need to set up another tank like a 55 or 75 to house the fish in before I put them into the main tank? Make sure they are healthy and all.

i'm leaning toward wid caught if and only if I can get a pretty good deal?

Well, use a small tank for isolation because I only add a few fish at a time.
What's the point of having an isolation tank if you don't isolate the fish ?

Adding a few fish each payday
Kind of goes hand in hand with cycling the tank.
If the fish is iolation are good, then add them to the big tank and go shopping for a few more.

If you are starting with fish from a friend / know breeder and have been asured they are healthy I might consider skiping isolation.

Just think what will happen if you fill the new tank and somehow something goes wrong.  How much time, money, effort it will take to try and save some of the fish in the tank.

And don't forget to steralize the decorations and other goodies you add to the tank.
'Dear Lord,' the minister began, with arms extended toward heaven and a rapturous look on his upturned face. 'Without you, we are but dust ...'
He would have continued but at that moment my very obedient daughter who was listening leaned over to me and asked quite audibly in her shrill little four-year old girl voice, 'Mom, what is butt dust?'
