How much substrate am i gonna need?

I just resealed an oceanic flat back 60, and i was wonderin what substrate anyone would recommend for a planted tank, and how much, i have flourite in a 29 and love it. But i keep hearing so many good things about eco complete, thinking of mixing them, or flourite with soil to give it more grip and added iron, that would be a whole lot cheaper, let me know what y'all think. thanks

I just put Eco-Complete in my 125 and I love it. I haven't had a problem with the few plant I have planted so coming out. I have heard complaints that it did not hold very well, but I don't see it.
