Great price on brass swagelok SS2 mertering valve (nupro is swagelok now):

Its 1/8" tube ends so you will need two of these to make each end 1/8" FNPT (this part# is not barbed unlike the auction reads:

less than 50 bucks total! yo can use a b-2-ta-7-4 fitting for 1/4" female NPT if you need that
