I bought a fistful of these guys at Houston Aquarium Warehouse (I paid for 15 but Dan's 15 is like 20 or more!). They are about 1" long, and get to be 1.75" fully grown. They aren't mean but they are very boisterous, and my tiny ember tetras are permanently hiding so these guys have to go. Anyone got any nice small peacefull fish they wanna trade? Maybe some neons or cardinals? Or Endlers live bearers? Must be tiny and peaceful..... emial me at russgb@aol.com

Re: Anybody WTT my Paraguensis tetras?
I have plenty of endlers and I would love to trade but you live on the wrong side of town'Dear Lord,' the minister began, with arms extended toward heaven and a rapturous look on his upturned face. 'Without you, we are but dust ...'
He would have continued but at that moment my very obedient daughter who was listening leaned over to me and asked quite audibly in her shrill little four-year old girl voice, 'Mom, what is butt dust?'

Re: Anybody WTT my Paraguensis tetras?
I don't suppose you're planning a trip to the south side of Houston any time soon.........
I do need a matched pair of 36" fixtures for my 175 bowfront but I spent all my money on Bettas this month'Dear Lord,' the minister began, with arms extended toward heaven and a rapturous look on his upturned face. 'Without you, we are but dust ...'

I won't be for a while...I am swamped at work and I have to go out of town Friday till late Monday for a national championship slot car race in Atlanta (wish me luck!).
We could do swapsies on fish, and if you want a pair of lights, you can owe me till you have something you wanna swap for them...but you'll have to come get them. I am literally a mile and a bit from the BW before you get to 290....

Not what I would call NW houston, That's right down the street from where I used to work...... Panelmatic
I made the trip twice a day for 6 years but they fired me because I wouldn't work overtime without getting paid.
I prefer not to drive after dark. Do you have any plans for this evening or tomorrow ? Send me your phone# and address in a pm.'Dear Lord,' the minister began, with arms extended toward heaven and a rapturous look on his upturned face. 'Without you, we are but dust ...'

Re: Paraguensis tetras gone south for the winter
Thanks Russ
They are home now and in my jungle tetra tank.
They havecolored up really nicely but are not schooling. More like small scattered groups.
Every once in a while one of my larger tetras will break up a group and they scatter and then find new groups to join or plant bunches to hide in.
May take them a day or two to rethink their game plan.'Dear Lord,' the minister began, with arms extended toward heaven and a rapturous look on his upturned face. 'Without you, we are but dust ...'

Re: Paraguensis tetras gone south for the winter
Day 2 and the color defination is great. They are no longer trying to fly in formation
but the tank is only 4' and there are so many of them that they are seldom more than 10" away from another.
They seem to be minding their "P"s & "Q"s as I have not noticed any aggression towards my zebras,
I think the red fins have cured them of that. That and the fact that they are the smallest fish in the tank.'Dear Lord,' the minister began, with arms extended toward heaven and a rapturous look on his upturned face. 'Without you, we are but dust ...'
