  • giving shrimp another try

I've never had much luck with shrimp. A few weeks is usually as long as I see a batch of shrimp in my tank. I've got my planted tank more stable than I had in the past and I want to give them another try.

I tried ghost shrimp, but they were in brackish water and didn't last long in my tank
The amanos were great to watch but again only last a few weeks
and those tiny cherry shrimp spot86t traded to me were really cool but all disappeared

I have corys, a relatively peaceful chinese algae eater, a loanly discus, and some ottos.  Could one of them be a shrimp killer?

Does anyone have some cherry shrimp to trade or sell? any good inexpensive place to buy amanos?

I have money on the CAE picking them off and the discus if its not well fed.

I had a lone discus that I got from Walter that starting going after my CRS since that was the only tank I had to put it in.
