I was thinking, if you add corals just don't buy colonies that come on massive LR which will substantially change your scape. But if you going ORA, that shouldn't be an issue.

Don't buy a CUC for this tank. I gotcha covered. Reef cleaners sent me to many snails. You can fish out as many as you want.
