It's really not that blue my phone can't adjust to it it is a metal halide

A strainer is needed or at somepoint you will be fishing something out of the sump.

what equipment are u running to filter the tank? Can you post some pics of your sump

Hey I'm just running a temp sump as of now to cycle the tank It's a clear rubbermaid with live rock and filter floss. Going with a 29 gallon tank as a refugium. Once its done I will make the transfer and take a pic of it when I am off work.

They are ick magnets... powder blues aren't too expensive but achilles run around $200
