In way of food: Reef Nutrition complete line and any vendor carrying fauna marin (I will buy their complete line for gorg and dendros).

In way of corals (but I don't think any of the vendors would have all this expect LA and they are not on the list:

    1) purple polyped sea fan (Astrogorgia sp)
    2) spider sponge (Trikentrion flabelliforme)
    3) colored sea fan (Echinogorgia sp.)
    4) (trade name unknown) Swiftia Exserta
    5) (trade name unknown) Guaiagorgia, and
    6) (trade name unknown) Menella.

I would prefer the bottom three over the top three if any of the vendors would have this.

p.s. and the complete elos mini w/o the light but again, I think it's unlikely a vendor would show up with this stuff.

it'll be a good experience to check out whats out there. Perhaps you might spot some corals that you normally wouldn't see. A few marsh and hfb guys are going, so we can help explain things as we go along.

Not to mention all the vendors will have knowledgable staff, so you can ask questions. It is more focused on people buying than teaching. But i think it'll be a pretty fun experience. marsh does not run a yearly event like that, so you'd have to wait til next year to catch another one. Might as well catch this "next wave"... (i made a pun. haha) There's still a month from here to then... plenty of time to get you caught up to speed.

But if i were you, i'd would start up a sw tank already, even if its just a 20g. Let it cycle so you can start collecting corals.

I do not have a salt tank at this time, but am researching for a build. Would this be a good place to go and gain knowledge, or is it just a "frag swap" type event?

whos going? What are you trying to buy? If we have enough interest in a certain vendor, I could contact them for them to bring certain corals to the show. That or "preorder" corals.

Reefkoi I know is bringing clams, gonna message Cherry corals about some fauna marin and NPS for thai. So let me know what you want and how much you wanna spend. Perhaps I can try to leverage some buying power if we got enough $$$. A lot of vendors coming out, so your chance to get some gear as well.

I hope to see a bunch of you foos there. Gotta rep hfb in dallas.
