My partner said that snakeheads are quite tasty. They are known as dalag in the Philippines and are a favorite food fish.

what is the best thing to do with it when you do catch one? the dude i was fishing with stab it in the head and then stab it everywhere else then throw it back into the pond, my guess was it was someone's pet, and must have put that snakehead in a fight club or soemthing then threw it into the pond...

oh wow thats some nice bass... i cheated on mine tho.. in a way.. its was setup as saltwater trout rod... 15 - 20lb breaded line... i had no problem reeling in my bass...
